🚨 Application Alert: 600 GRZ Student Loans Open for LMMU 2026 Academic Year!

The Higher Education Loans and Scholarships Board (HELSB) has announced the opening of applications for 600 Undergraduate GRZ Student Loans specifically for the 2026 Academic Year at Levy Mwanawasa Medical University (LMMU). This is a critical opportunity for school leavers pursuing medical careers.

Applicants must meet all the following minimum criteria to be considered for the loan scheme:

• (i) Nationality & Identification: Must be Zambian with a valid Green National Registration Card (NRC).
• (ii) Admission Status: Must be a School Leaver who has been officially admitted to Levy Mwanawasa Medical University.
• (iii) Age Limit: Must be 26 years old or below by January 2026.

Crucially: Student allowances are payable across all levels of support (100% down to 25%). Applicants must provide necessary proof of their vulnerability to support their requested level.

Applicants must be aware of the following conditions:

• Board's Discretion: HELSB reserves the right to determine the actual level of the loan awarded, based on its financial capacity and the applicant's proven need.
• No Guarantee: Admission into LMMU does not necessarily guarantee the applicant a GRZ student loan.
• Non-Transferable: The student loan is not transferable from one University to another. Ensure LMMU is your final choice for the 2026 academic year.
